Moving from North to South

Today we took the ferry to the south island from Wellington to Picton. It was a 4 hour trip to the other side aaaaaand ... we saw orca's 😁👍! Only saw their top fin but enough to put a smile on everyones faces 😁. The scenery's were also A-MA-ZING. So cool!

The North: Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland

We went to Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland on our way to Ohakune for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It's an area full of thermal activity. There are boiling mud/water pits, colorfull mineral lakes, .... Really cool place 😎.

The North: Karangahake Gorge

On our way from Cold Water Beach 😈 to Rotorua we visited Karangahake Gorge. Really beautifull and adventurous walks through old gold mining tunnels. Some of the tunnels are open for public but most of the kilometers long network of tunnels is closed. Very cool 😎!
